I am April Durham from South Carolina. Born and raised in Liberty Indiana. I received my art education at Union County High School in Liberty Indiana. I never pursued a career in art as I was always interested in mathematics. It wasn’t until 2019 that I picked up my art brushes again after 30 plus years. I had a stroke in 2014 and found myself unable to work anymore so I decided I had to find something to do. Art has been very therapeutic to me. After picking up the brushes I was amazed that I still had the basic knowledge of art, I have since self-taught different mediums to expand my gallery. I am very passionate about painting the medium of expression art. I’ve also have learned and enjoy abstract and impression art. Each of my pieces are originals. My goal is to bring cost friendly original art pieces into your cozy homes. I paint on canvas, wood and other surfaces. I get my inspirations from life experiences and just simply driving down the road and seeing a beautiful landscape, sky, building and earths beauty.
